  13. I am in need of beta testers for an application that
  14. will go into wide-area beta testing soon.  Before
  15. that, though, I need to get an idea of how this program
  16. runs on a few hundred machines.

  18. PhoneThing is a Windows 95-only, 100% TAPI program
  19. that does the following:
  20.  
  21. 1) Caller ID - Need I say more?
  22. 2) Dial Up Networking - Way Cool Features:
  23.    a) Keeps track of how long you've been
  24.       on for this call, today, this week, and
  25.       this month.  Dynamically adjusts while
  26.       connected.
  27.    b) Makes it easy to connect - a "System Tray"
  28.       icon lets you choose your dial-up connection
  29.       and click.  Dialing is immediate.  Away you go.
  30.    c) One-click access to disconnect from the tray area.
  31.    d) Keeps a log of all calls, their start and
  32.       stop times, connect speed, and duration.
  33. 3) MUCH more to come.

  35. This program is cool, make no mistake about it.  
  36. Once the program goes into wide-area beta, those
  37. who register the $20 shareware price will always
  38. get the next beta before everyone else -- you'll
  39. have access to it via the web 24 hours a day.
